Experience
From 2021 to 2023, I Ied product, engineering and design for Lessen. I helped raise over $200M of VC investment and achieve a unicorn valuation. I grew tech team from 10 to over 150 people and planned an executed the core product and engineering strategy. In just 18 months my teams built the entire backend platform, 4 application experiences including a highly reviewed mobile app, the core data pipelines, reporting and payment systems and a powerful AI-driven matching and marketplace optimization system.
Chief Technology Officer
From 2018 to 2021, I led product, engineering and test for the Zillow.com web experience. My group was responsible for the core product strategy, planning, and execution of Zillow's shopping experience. During that time, we did a full redesign and rebuild of the core home detail pages, created new tools for home shopping and migrated to an entirely new data source for listings.
Senior Director, Product Development
From 2016 to 2018, I played key role in creating and evangelizing the vision, roadmap and OKRs for Uber for Business. Within just 2 years, I grew my team to 4x the size and we designed, built and launched Uber Central and Uber Vouchers from scratch. I also worked with key partners to develop our B2B API offering. Internally, I led revamping the program management process for our entire org. Finally, I got hands-on to code a full stack web application using React, Node and Python.
Senior Engineering Manager
From 2014 to 2016 at Amazon Music, I managed a cross functional product engineering team including Engineering, QA and other managers. My teams owned the retail website experience for music on Amazon.com. We launched Prime Music, AutoRip and new playback functionality on the web. I also led the mobile web music shopping experience, including an end-to-end redesign and rebuild of the experience.. Finally, I took on management of an applied science and machine learning team that owned the data pipeline and offline modeling for recommendations.
From 2012 to 2014 as a Senior PM, I owned planning, prioritization, resourcing and road mapping for a set of teams. I also drove the creation and adoption of our referral program and API with partners. I built robust traffic models for launch projections and peak usage scaling. I was awarded US patent for streaming music in content groups invention for work I did as a hack day project.
Software Development Manager
From 2008 to 2012 at Microsoft, I designed UX, wrote product specs and drove development for the MSN homepage. I worked on features including weather, local news, sports scores and search integration. I led an org-wide adoption of component-based framework and new development platform. I drove the development and release of a personalization framework used across MSN. Designed and co-developed an auto-documentation system with C#/ASP.NET, SQL Server.

Product Manager / Software Developer
From 2005 to 2007, I worked with the C-level at 50 person startup to launch a new wireless internet company in 5 markets. I ran betas and created a go-to-market strategy that got us to our first 10,000 customers. I built key analysis and insights that guided marketing spend and strategic decisions. I coded and tested two major company website releases with HTML/CSS/JS. I used SQL to build data pipelines and dashboards that guided marketing spend and strategic decisions.
2004-2006
I graduated in the top 20% of my class at Drexel University in 2006 with an MBA. I specialized in MIS and Marketing and was part of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society.
Education
1999-2003
I graduated Rowan University with a Bachelor’s in Business in 2003. Coursework included computer science, management, marketing and accounting. I made dean’s list almost every semester.
2015
In 2015 while working at Amazon, I took a 3 month sabbatical to attend Hack Reactor full time. The program was a 3 month, 70 hour a week intensive coding bootcamp focused on JavaScript, NodeJS and popular front end frameworks like Angular and React.
2009 - 2010
I completed 2 technical certificate programs at University of Washington in C# programming and Advanced Web Application development. The programs each were 3 classes, meeting once a week for the length of a school year.

Startup Advisor
In addition to a number of personal side projects, I’ve formally advised a number of startups including Sena Health, Clearly Next and Loupe Art. Responsibilities have included advising product strategy, UX and technical design and hands-on coding.
Instructor and Mentor
I previously was an instructor at Product School in Seattle, teaching the fundamentals of product management to bootcamp students. I was also a mentor in the Plato network for engineering leaders for over 3 years.
